Oli Julian: ‘Us (Original Television Soundtrack)’

Testimonials

Oli Julian is best known for his work in the comedy drama sphere, with original score and song credits including Catastrophe, Sex Education and Caitlin Moran’s How To Build A Girl. Oli’s score for Us, the BBC One adaptation of David Nicholls hit novel, tackles themes of heartache, loss, love and catastrophe (sometimes comical, sometimes painful). This project has been the perfect show to exemplify the emotional breadth of Oli’s abilities as composer and producer; it demonstrates a phenomenal range of skill and dramatical understanding. It marks Oli as a diverse and multi-faceted composer, who has matured and honed his craft. The leap forwards that this project has allowed Oli to demonstrate, will no doubt make many filmmakers sit up and take note.
