Mark Tucker is a very talented and highly regarded producer, especially in the folk scene. He is not one for accolades, recognition, or awards, so I know this nomination will infuriate him. He’d rather keep his head down and create great records with great artists. This mindset has allowed him to become famous for this work with Jethro Tull, Fairport Convention, Martin Barr, Show of Hands, to name a few. Mark’s work this year has been no different. He is a master of putting the artist at ease, while delivering way beyond their unreasonably high expectations. This year has been a great year for him, having produced a multi-award winning album with Ninebarrow and two critically acclaimed projects with Dakar Audio Club & Kitty Macfarlane. I hope you agree, and will vote for him.
