Jake Jackson

Jake is one of the UK’s biggest names in film-score engineering & mixing, with the scores of Under The Skin for Mica Levi, Cinderella for Patrick Doyle and Pete’s Dragon for Daniel Hart listed on his CV. His mixing credits also include BAFTA Games-winning Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture by Jessica Curry. Joining AIR as a runner in 1998, he quickly gathered expertise, experience and a reputation for remaining calm under pressure. Jake joined our freelance roster in 2008 and has since developed a long-standing collaboration with Murray Gold, which has included the music for several series of Doctor Who and for the mini-series A Very English Scandal. In another enduring partnership, Jake has worked on the production, recording and mixing of scores by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis for The Proposition, Jesse James, The Road, Hell or High Water and One More Time with Feeling, as well as the album Skeleton Tree. Jake is also Chief Engineer at Spitfire Audio.
