Ash’s mix career got off to a dream start when the first full length LP that he mixed, the seminal Metronomy debut ‘English Riveira’ was nominated for a Mercury. That, followed very quickly by the global success of the debut Christine & the Queens LP ‘Chaleur Humaine’ (produced and mixed), has meant that he has been in huge demand as a mix engineer ever since. In 2019/20 Ash continues his work with Christine & The Queens by mixing her stunning EP ‘La Vita Nuova’ which the NME described as an ‘astonishing and emotional sucker-punch’. Also released in 2019 was Ash’s mix work on the new Metronomy LP, including single ‘The Lights’. Ash’s success in France means that he is an extremely popular choice with progressive electronic artists in the know. In 2020 he mixed the wild quinzequinze track ‘Le Juene’, an explosion of African rhythms and Parisian style as well as mixing the new Papooz single ‘The Garden’
