FRAN NEVRKLA. Chairman & CEO, PPL
Dear Mike (Howlett)
I am writing to offer my sincere congratulations and compliments on the success and warm atmosphere of the MPG Producer Awards last night.
There is no doubt that the studio producers have a fundamentally important role in developing and supporting talent and producing great recordings which then become part of our cultural heritage. By the way, I could not help being struck by how gracious, intelligent and articulate ALL the recipients of the various awards were compared with others elsewhere! Also, not one single swear word! How refreshing.
Kind regards, Fran

Mike Tony et al involved. I felt enormously proud of the Guild. We have finally come of age in a public sense.
I have been a member since the late 80’s and we were always perceived as the backroom boys doing fantastic work behind the scenes getting remuneration for Producers and many other fascinating seminars which continued to raise our profile.
Last night was our first attempt at putting the MPG onto a bigger stage and recognizing the tireless work of Producers who are usually the last to be lauded when success comes along and first to be fired if the project fails. Also recognizing the amazing contributions made by Mixers Engineers Mastering Engineers and even Tape Ops.
Nicky

All the very best

Congratulation to Sue, Sadie, Mark and Tony for such a phenomenal evening. Way beyond what expected as it punched way above it’s weight yet it was intimate enough for everyone to have a good time.
Roll on next year.
Malcolm

Dylan, organiser of The Peoples Music Awards
Just wanted to extend my congratulations to you on the success of your first ever MPG Awards! Unfortunately I could not attend due to work commitments (I am working myself into the ground getting ready for our awards) but I have heard nothing but praise for what was obviously an amazing night.
