We just can’t keep our hands off the industry’s top awards. Following quickly after the domination of the Mercury Prize by MPG members, lo and behold: we’re all over the Abbey Road-sponsored A&R Awards too – organised by Tim Ingham’s new digital publishing venture Music Business Worldwide.
They were back on November 1st at The Sheraton Grand Park Lane in Mayfair, celebrating indie and major label achievements in the UK with a special focus on individuals and teams who have rocked the music biz with success in all sorts of categories from songwriting to publishing via administration. It means a lot to us that once again producers and engineers are getting the recognition they deserve, so here’s our Sheraton shortlist – together with their previous achievements at our own MPG Awards…
