There will be a public hearing to discuss the implications of the planning application for AIR Studios and we encourage all those affected by this decision to take part.
Dates: 26th & 27th September 2017
Start time: 10am
Venue: Council Offices, 5 St Pancras Square, London NW1 4AG
AIR STUDIOS WOULD APPRECIATE AS MANY OF YOU ATTENDING THE MEETING AS POSSIBLE AS A SHOW OF STRENGTH.
An article with further details about the case can be found here.
In hearings of this nature, the numbers of people who turn up to these meetings can be an important factor in the Planning Inspector’s mind. The MPG look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
If you would like to attend one or both days please would you email Rob Tulloch at rob.tulloch@camden.gov.uk and let him know your intentions to come.
If any of you wish to speak at the hearing, you will need to send your statement to the Planning Inspectorate and notify them that they wish to speak at the hearing.

Dear All,
Air Studios hearing this week CANCELLED
Please see the note below. If you had made arrangements to come to the hearing this week Tues and Wed, please cancel them as the hearing has been cancelled. A new hearing will be set in due course which will be an Inquiry of 4 days. The Inquiry will examine all of the issues more fully than the scheduled 2 day hearing (now cancelled).
AIR Studios has been notified by the Planning Inspectorate that they consider the issues raised by the neighbours’ proposed basement building works to be too complex to be decided at a Planning Hearing.
Owing to the significant amount of contested technical evidence relating to vibration and noise, AIR Studios invited the appointed Inspector to reconsider the appropriate procedure for the determination of the appeal. The Inspector has acceded to that request which, it is hoped, will provide a much fairer, open and transparent procedure.
This means that the hearing dates of the 26th and 27th September have been cancelled and a 4 day Inquiry will now be scheduled.
We are very aware that many of our supporters intended to be present at the hearing and apologise profusely if they have made arrangements to attend only to have it cancelled at such short notice. However, we are pleased that having reviewed the appeal documentation and recent correspondence, the Inspector agrees that our concerns merit an Inquiry with formal questioning of the relevant experts and witnesses.
We ask all our supporters to bear with us and we will keep them informed as the dates for the Inquiry are scheduled later in the year.
Thanks
Jessica Learmond-Criqui
