Sound advice practical guidance on noise at work in music and entertainment

Sound advice, practical guidance on the control of noise at work in music and entertainment, was ranked number 1 noise website (non local authority) by Noise Bulletin in their Aug/Sep issue. Sound advice was developed by industry experts and designed for the industry, with support from Environmental Health Officers and the Health and Safety Executive. The website became available in July 2008. It offers general information on what you need to know about the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 and contains specific sections of the industry, for example concert halls and theatres, amplified live music venues, pubs/clubs and studios.

The web version, of particular interest to small businesses and individuals, is available at http://soundadvice.info.
