An Update on Metadata – What Is It?

As part of the MPG’s on-going campaign, Credit Where Credit Is Due (CWCID), we’re promoting this new video, produced by the Universal Music Group, in collaboration with DDEX, (Digital Data Exchange – setting the metadata standards for the music industry) to help highlight the importance of music metadata.

What’s metadata? Check the video to find out, and discover how important it is in securing your royalty and performance payments, and in acknowledging your creative achievements to the world.
