Credit Where Credit Is due

This is an initiative to promote the presentation of credits for those performing various roles in music production when members of the public listen to digital music download files. Currently, those responsible for the artistic and technical achievements involved in contemporary music production go completely unrecognised.

These credits, included as standard practice in the sleeve notes and artwork of CD’s and vinyl albums, are currently unavailable when digital downloads are purchased by the general public, or when music files are streamed via Spotify, Deezer, etc..

The MPG seeks to rectify this short-coming by urging all consumers and recording artists to make their voices heard to the industry which is responsible for the distribution of recorded music.

The MPG’s Mastering Group has been working to achieve a connection between music audio files and a central database of credit data. Read about it here. Pop Over Here can someone write my college essay.
