As reported on the BBC website, the British Phonographic Institute (BPI) and the Motion Picture Association (MPA) have come to an agreement with UK Internet Service Providers to send “educational” letters to those downloading music files illegally, but not in line with the action promised by the the Digital Economy Act.
Many stakeholders in the music industry are disappointed, to say the least.
