The Motor Museum

From opening in 1988, The Motor Museum has been an incredibly prolific and influential studio on UK music. It’s unique design remains largely unchanged from it’s original vision, and it has become synonymous with some of the most iconic guitar music of the last thirty years. As a primarily producer-led studio The Motor Museum has developed a culture in it’s users that focuses on creativity, authenticity, and a pursuit of the highest level of engineering technique. It’s discography is as strong in mixing as it is recording, and a strong sense of identity is symbolic of it’s output. What defines The Motor Museum is not a technical spec. It’s an ethos that permeates the fabric of the building, and a culture of excellence that is upheld by it’s staff. The history that has been made within the studio is tangible and celebrated, and continues to inspire current and future generations of musicians and producers alike.
