Sam Fender 1

Bramwell Bronte is gaining recognition for his work with Sam Fender. The pair recorded early demos in Bram’s flat & quickly recognised the alchemy of their relationship. Bramwell has played a crucial role in honing Sam’s sound, developing him into a Brits Critic’s Choice award winning artist. The title track from Dead Boys EP (premiered as Radio 1’s Hottest Record in the World) has been heralded for its production, conveying the intense emotions surrounding the epidemic of male suicide. The song captures a melancholic desperation with how to deal with issues of depression and suicide and then explodes into an intense pounding rage of frustration with what appears to be a helpless repetitive circle of behaviour that leads to the loss of many young lives. The song has had a profound impact upon some people, with one 5live listener even claiming that it directly saved his life while driving on the way to deliberately crash his car.
