I single-handedly created my debut EP whilst studying for my degree, and struggling with severe clinical depression, anxiety and an eating disorder. I did everything myself, from writing, to recording all instruments working as a studio engineer, to the final production and mastering stages. I also created all my own promotion and marketing for the EP, and I’m really rather proud of it! The process of learning how to use all the equipment and stuff was hugely beneficial to my mental health, and despite covid, it got played on a number of radio stations, and after the successful release, it has allowed me to take a number of further production jobs. I’ve included a picture of myself on the final day of recording behind the desk 🙂
