Rocky O’Reilly

Rocky O’Reilly IS the Northern Irish music scene. He’s created a scene and an atmosphere around his Belfast city-centre studio that we don’t often see in the UK. He brings musicians together and then makes incredible records. Rocky’s been grafting a long time – starting in Oppenheimer a band who toured the US relentlessly, got synced to every US sitcom you can imagine and made one absolute car crash of a chat show performance themselves. Since then he’s made records with In Case of Fire, General Fiasco and longtime collaborators, AndSoIWatchYouFromAfar. who released their most recent work together, Successors, over lockdown. He’s got broad taste and a skillset to match- this year he’s produced for The Clockworks, Alan McGee’s most recent punk’n’roll signing, Nathan Connolly of Snow Patrol fame, new BMG signing The Florentinas and Dublin hip-hop outfit Tebi Rex, which picked up significant editorial support at streaming. Rocky O’Reilly is a lovely man and a great produce.
