Phil Gornell 2

Testimonials

Phil started out doing front of house for some of big names -he’s toured with Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low, 5SOS and a ton of others. It was during this time that he really began to cut his teeth as a collaborator, and was frequently invited to write with the bands he was touring with. Flash forward a few years, and Phil is really beginning to establish himself as a force of nature in the writer/producer world. This year he co-wrote 7 tracks, including the lead single Some Kind of Disaster for All Time Low, for their new album, Wake Up Sunshine. The album charted at 3 in the UK and 1 in the Billboard Rock charts. He also co-wrote and produced Deaf Havana’s LP sinner and is very much in demand as a writer both in the UK and the US. He’s recently written with Against The Current, The Xcerts, Olivia Sebastianelli and Take That’s Mark Owen. He’s got an amazing energy in the writing room and is constantly innovating in terms of bring the best out of his collaborators.
