Metropolis Studios

Metropolis began mid ’19-20 under new management, tweaking and refining particular processes and overhauling others, bettering efficiency and focusing on being a client centric studio. We recently constructed a new studio for the brilliant songwriter and producer, Camille Purcell. Adapting to the challenges that arose from the Corona Virus pandemic. Putting new safety measures in place in order to operate in a way that is reassuring and safe for both staff and clients. Changing events to a live stream format in order to facilitate live music performances with brands such as Amazon, Notion and Ellesse, also fusing Live To Vinyl recording with live stream in the absence of an audience. L2V and Amazon Originals sessions with Circa Waves, Nothing But Thieves, Oh Wonder, Portico Quartet and Jack Garrett, to name but a few. We were also the studio to host Record Store Day’s L2V recording with The Big Moon. -Clients to note inc. Stormzy, Little Mix, Mcfly, Kendrick Lamar, Drake.

Metropolis Studios record, mix, and master at least half of the music that charts in the UK and around the globe. From Little Mix, UK #1 album Edna from Headie One, Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynne, AJ Tracey, Inflo, The Who, and more. Metropolis has been around since 1985 as one of London’s largest leading recording studios, and their team, engineers, management, assistant engineers, and staff couldn’t be more deserving of this award.
