Livingston Studios

The legendary North London complex continues to be one of the most popular studio facilities in the capital nearly four decades after it first opened its doors. Livingston is home to two superb tracking spaces, whose already impressive client list has been bolstered in recent months by artists such as Honne, James, Slaves, Cliff Richard, Lighthouse Family, The Vamps and Sampha. The building has a history steeped in jazz which has seen a resurgence in the past year, with artists such as Shabaka Hutchings, Quentin Collins and Alex Hitchcock attracted to the flexible recording spaces, high-spec control rooms and the sublime Steinway Model B grand piano in Studio 1, described by some as the finest piano in London. Meanwhile the smaller Studio 2 provides the perfect creative environment for emerging artists, with the likes of Declan J Donovan, Sports Team, Lily Moore and Kawala recording there recently.

A proper studio for performance based recording.
