Laura Bettinson has been self producing under the names Dimbleby & Capper, FEMME and now under her own name lau.ra. Along the way Laura has picked up praise from The Guardian, Future Music and Billboard. The move into a more club / electronic sound, working with guest vocalists has managed to get her recognition not just for her songwriting skills, but also as a producer. The singles this year have picked up high profile radio support across BBC Radio 1 and BBC6 Music, again proving why Annie Mac has dubbed her .’a 1 woman powerhouse.’ Having previously been asked to do remixes for the likes of Charli XCX. This year lau.ra has made 3 remixes for brilliant female artists. Most recently Elliphant – Had Enough (lau.ra UK version), Elliphant – Had Enough (lau.ra UK version) and also Malka – Moving Together (lau.ra remix) which is current receiving support on Radio 1 and 6music
