Kyoto Music

Channelling the spirit of Rockfield & Monnow Valley but only 30 mins outside of London, Kyoto Studio is not just a world-class recording studio, it’s an immersive music experience hiding in 72-acres of stunning gardens. Built by a drummer, for drummers, it’s interchangeable in terms of space & sound. We’ve combined old school brilliance, like our analogue MCI 500 Rev D console (previously owned by John Entwhistle from The Who), alongside the latest technology, including a very special innovation, the Drumbrella. The Drumbrella uses dynamic acoustics to create different sounds – without the usual instrumental upheaval & costly delays. In its lowest position, the Drumbrella creates a tight sound, then by inching it up, you can change the character of the recording until you get the openness & ‘room’ sound you desire. As well as boasting a top spec studio, you can also lose yourself & enjoy: – Onsite accommodation – Swimming Pool – Tennis Court – Chickens – Lake – Carp – BBQ Area
