Testimonials

We tried out 4 or 5 big named producers and mixers and were about to call it a day. It just wasn’t working. Jamie literally was our last roll of the dice and he nailed it. The band have worked with him ever since. In 2017 the band Were championed by Vodafone, and won their ‘hottest new bands’ competition of the back of Jamie’s production. In August 2018 the band secured BBC introducing Solent track of the week, again because of Jamie’s production. Over has subsequently been picked by a leading phone network company for their 2020 tv ad sync as well as gaining traction across national and regional radio. Over it has also secured placement in a multimillion selling computer game due for release in 2020. I can’t evidence these claims because NDA’s have been signed. Finally I’d just like to say that Jamie is out there helping out loads of young aspiring producers, sharing his knowledge and taking them to different studios across the world and giving them an insight.

For a songwriter, finding the right producer to work with, is paramount to the development of any project. It took me a long time to find one that could offer me everything I needed to record a record – great studio set up, great players , of which Jamie is exceptional (mastering many instruments) Great ear, accomplished songwriter, singer. His many production mixes of many artists, including myself, are beautifully mastered pieces of work. I truly believe him to be a rising star of a producer. I’ve been working with him, for the past two years, and can honestly say there is no better producer for me.

I think Jamie deserves an award because he’s incredibly talented, he’s worked from the bottom (running and assisting) all the way up to producing BBC Radio 1 playlisted records now. He works incredibly hard to ensure artists are happy and music production is his life. Now seems like the right time for him to receive some recognition.
