Chris Andoh

2019 saw Chris Andoh co-write & produce one of the biggest tracks of the year – ‘Vossi Bop’ – but he has been tirelessly grinding away behind the scenes for over ten years. He started making Grime during secondary school in Harrow where he grew up, but he gradually expanded his sound to incorporate Pop, Rap/Trap and RnB. Cuts for TE dness, Nines & BIA helped spread the word of Chris’ sound. It was a video uploaded to Chris’ Snapchat in 2016 that lead to Stormzy asking for the beat that would be better known to the world as ‘Vossi Bop’. Two days later they’re both in the studio working on the track that would become their first ever #1 single. Released in April 2019, ‘Vossi Bop’ spent two weeks at #1 and quickly went Platinum. From that point Chris was able to leave his day job and sign a worldwide publishing deal with Universal Music. Chris is by no means a household name yet but with his diary rapidly filling up & working with the cream of UK and international talent, he soon will be.

One of the UK’s current most underrated producers. Deserves credit for his work. As a breakthrough producer he has already achieved a UK number one, I think that’s worth recognition.
