Cam Blackwood

Cam Blackwood has become one of the most sought after UK producers in recent years. Attracting global recognition for his work with George Ezra and their #1 albums, this year Blackwood has defied expectations with the Jack Savoretti album, Singing to Strangers which peaked at #1 on UK charts. This was followed by his production work on Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes album End of Suffering, which peaked at #4 on the UK album charts, #1 on UK Independent chart and lead single ‘Crowbar’ was BBC 1 Hottest Record In The World. Rounding out the year, Cam produced Q Prime’s buzz band Feet’s recent singles, ‘Ad Blue’ and ‘English Weather.’ The band stated, ‘Working with Cam was a truly enlightening experience.’ As a producer who channels so much musicality, dedication and passion into each project, plus Cam’s contribution to the success of George Ezra is why he deserves to win Producer of The Year!

Cam is at the top of his game on these two very different sounding albums. Both very live sounding records with great performances. Just great production by a great producer.

Cam Blackwood has had another incredible year, producing Jack Savoretti’s number 1 album Singing not Strangers and Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes’s End of Suffering. A real positive energy in the studio and joy to work with, Cam’s musical and technical aptitude as well as his ability to get the best out of artists make him an excellent producer.
