Artist/Producer BISHI spent the pandemic perfecting the art of working digitally and increasing her knowledge of a huge number of skills, from music production and programming XR/VR live performances to mentoring artists internationally. As an independent artist and label owner, she self-released 3 singles and an album during the pandemic, remote recorded, mixed and mastered. She also recorded and produced the first ever sitar soundpack for LANDR. As a minority woman of colour over the age of 30, BISHI continues to face barriers and challenges in the industry. She is a passionate campaigner for inclusivity and diversity and founded her non-profit platform, WITCiH (women in tech creative industries hub) to support women + non-binary creatives in tech. BISHI’s charismatic presence, boundless energy and consummate professionalism combined with her innate musical talent embodies a strong female pioneer forging a successful career on her own terms.
