2021 was the year that Ben Jackson-Cook solidified his position as a brilliant writer/producer. A long-time collaborator with Rag’n’Bone Man as his MD, Ben and Rory spent much of their spare time whilst on the road promoting the ‘Human’ LP, writing what would become Rag’s sophomore release ‘Life by Misadventure’. This breathtakingly beautiful album is co-written and co-produced by Ben, recorded in Nashville with fellow producer Mike Elizondo. The LP debuted at number 1 in the UK and was the fastest selling LP by a solo artist of last year. It charted top 10 in a further 11 countries across the world and is already certified gold. Ben recently signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Sony Music and is currently writing with Tom Walker, Jordan Rakei, Birdy, You Me At Six, Mitch Saunders, Ella Henderson and has had cuts and productions credits for newcomers Lucy Blue and Valencia Grace. He and Rory are already writing what will become the next Rag’n’Bone Man release.
