Ben Hillier 2

Ben’s unique and inventive approach to production over the past 2 decades should have bagged him a nomination – or even an award – before now. With past projects ranging from BLUR to DEPECHE MODE from ELBOW to GANG OF FOUR which he recorded in places as diverse as Moroccan palaces to curtain warehouses and on a working farm, it’s his moving in more recent years to a more collaborative writer producer role, most notably on all four of the Nadine Shah albums to date which have really shown him at his very best and most innovative. The recent Nadine Shah album – Kitchen Sink – a tapestry of musical and production genius in oho- should be album of the year – as well as earn him the Writer – Producer of the Year award too.

Written by Ben Hillier and Nadine Shah (Tracks 1-11), with Ben Nicholls (Tracks 3-5), Neill MacColl (Tracks 3,11), Produced by Ben Hillier
