Alexandra Petkovski (FJORA)

WILDDOGS’ is a song that Alexandra Petkovski (FJORA) created from her native town of Toronto, Canada with UK based duo Goldtop — it is a demonstration of international collaboration, further, a reflection of female presence within music production; a vital awareness that Alexandra personally advocates for. Alexandra began self-taught study and practice of music production in her late teens, while attending and obtaining her Bachelor of Music Degree, followed by her Masters in Music. While pursuing her PhD at New York University (composition, theory & film scoring) she decided to go on leave to work in the music industry full time. Having had music on FOX, MTV, NBC, New Music Friday playlisting, songs released on labels such as Enhanced Music, Proximity, Universal Music, Thrive Music, her journey has only begun. Nominated to represent females in production at the JUNO 2019 Awards, Alexandra garnered the attention of Grammy-winner Linda Perry, and will be signing a deal with her label.
