The Crypt Crouch End, London

The Crypt Studio is a vibrant, multi-purpose, day-lit recording studio complex, steeped in history and character.

With an extraordinary range of modern and vintage equipment, we are dedicated to bringing our flair and 20 years of expertise to your recordings, mixes and masters.

Studio 1 is high-ceilinged, spacious (132 sq ft) and houses our wonderful vintage collection of instruments, amplifiers and microphones. As well as serving as a recording studio, it is fully equipped for filming, photography and a multitude of other audio-visual purposes. It also includes an isolation booth.

Available to use are our beautiful, British-made John Broadwood & Sons barless grand piano (c. 1900), two vintage Wurlitzers (including a rare 270 “Butterfly” model), a 88 key Rhodes MKII Suitcase Piano, Hammond L100 organ with accompanying Leslie speaker and a 1960s Philicorda. We also have a mouth-watering selection of guitar amps, including a Vox AC30, a Fender Twin Reverb and a Music Man 212 HD and a Marshall stack, which once belonged to David Bowie’s guitarist, Mick Ronson.
